Can Christians commit fornication with the person they love on Valentine’s Day?

Many Christian couples have kids and have been living together for years but never married. This is fornication. Is it OK for Christians to commit fornication with the person they love, even on Valentine’s Day?

No. It is never OK. Marriage first, then sex. Only in that order!
Only if they feel guilty about it afterward.
There is nothing wrong with that. When 2 people Love each other that is what they do.
Can they do it? Yes! Is it “okay”? No! A sin is a sin is a sin, whether you are a Christian or atheist or deist or taoist.
No, not unless you are married.
It is not ok for anyone to commit fornication. Sadly, it happens a lot even among Christians.
no, your god will strike you down. hahaha… i literally laugh aloud everytime I think of one of you bovine believers scared of a make-believe figure.
It is wrong no matter what but lets be honest in today’s world many do it. Christians never said they were perfect. No one is perfect.
I would say no, on any day. It’s a question of commitment. If you are willing to commit to a person enough to have sex with them, then you should make that a life long marriage commitment. The Bible’s fundamental purpose is to define relationships; between God and his people, between people themselves, and between us and God, and it quite clear on what constitues healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Not on any day, unless you are married :)
Certificates where given because of our hard hearts a cert to marry and a cert to divorce. What is marriage in gods eyes strongly doubt it is the certificate it is the union inside the heart between both the man and the woman, and that is only shared between the married couple and God. But because of your hard hearts we have certificates.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
That is why there will be a Judgment day!
Since fornication is unlawful, in the eyes of the church or the law, then Christians are forbidden to comit fornication at anytime. It is not allowed even on Valentine’s Day.
Sexual intercourse between a man and a woman who are not married to each other.
Under the common law, the crime of fornication consisted of unlawful sexual intercourse between an unmarried woman and a man, regardless of his marital status. If the woman was married, the crime was adultery.
Today, statutes in a number of states declare that fornication is an offense, but such statutes are rarely enforced. On the theory that fornication is a victimless crime, many states do not prosecute persons accused of the offense.
Under modern-day legislation, if one of the two persons who engage in sexual intercourse is married to another person, he (or she) is guilty of adultery. Statutes in some states declare that if the woman is married, the sexual act constitutes adultery on the part of both persons, regardless of the man’s marital status.
Fornication is an element of a number of sex offenses such as rape, incest, and seduction.
Although penalties are seldom enforced, they usually consist of a fine, imprisonment, or both. In November of 1996 an Idaho prosecutor brought fornication charges against a teenage couple in an effort to curb teen pregnancy.
Christians receive the same consequences for sinning that those who are not Christians do and don’t be fooled, there are consequences. Having sex outside of the committed relationship of marriage is a mistake. It is harmful to both parties and extends to others as well, particularly if there are children that are produced from such a relationship. Why would that be different.
Christians can sin in a closed white room alone. When that guy comes down the isle with the basket, the only reason you’ll give is if you’re guilty of some stupid thing. Soooo, if a bible babbler would be successful, he must peddle guilt. Catholics have confession to take the pressure off, 12 Step Groups have the 5th step, Atheists have shrinks, but the flake religions want every bread crumb sin, real or imagined, to fester forever, round and round in your head, and guess what? god forgives doesn’t make it. The more fester, the more in the hat. Simple. Bad thoughts on Valentines Day, ah ha, just as I suspected.
NO! For those that live together are not true Christians. One must be
obedient to the word.
Those that do these things are pleasing themself and NOT pleasing God.
Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be honorable among all,and the marriage bed
without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
Ephesians 5:3 Let fornication and uncleanness of every sort or greediness
not even be mentioned among you, just as it befits holy people.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is what God wills, the sanctifying of YOU,
that YOU abstain from fornication.
Abstain from fornication!
